ACTING WITH CAMERA

I am so inspired of worked with Ally Sheedy in New York City University film department to teach acting with the camera in 2019. Her unique technique developed after 34 years of working in the film and television industries. I would love to share what I learned from her excellent and beneficial unique technique with everybody passionate about acting in film and television.

Group Class

This is three hours class. Welcome all levels, each student will provide a monologue from a great film, and work in front of a professional camera. After recording, the student will check the monitor and receive the notes from the instructor. As you practice in front of the camera, you learn to stay open and work freely, and you discover the relevance of Ally Sheedy's technique on-camera work, building the 4th wall, connecting with the sensory aspect of the environment, and begin to understand the level of the preparation and simplicity the camera. students will receive the best-recorded clip after the class.

THE COURSE FEE

$200 FOR 4 WEEKS,  $450 FOR 9 WEEKS

(1 session per week)



Private Class

This two hours class is for the working actor with on-camera experience who is seeking to stretch, renew and risk. Getting immediate feedback from the take, analyzing the context of the scene, how to put yourself in the best light for the casting director, and learning due to causality that integrates us into what's happening. Students will have the best-recorded clip after class.
